The Chilmark school partners with Island Grown Schools to learn and explore in our outdoor garden space. Island Grown Schools empowers a new generation of children to make healthy eating choices, learn to grow food, and connect to local farms. We use hands-on-learning to foster creativity while becoming farmers and scientists. We grow an assortment of fruits and vegetables while also learning about soil health, nutrition, agriculture and many more fun topics.
